High Chromium White Cast Iron
High Chromium White Cast Iron's superior wear resistance is mainly due to a high volume fraction of very hard, well-dispersed carbides in a matrix of martensite, the microstructure is controlled to maximize the abrasion resistance, the presence of carbides, the fatigue resistance and the toughness of high chromium white cast iron all play an important role in its abrasion resistance. This product combines the abrasion resistance of alloyed white iron with the ability to cast custom shapes to form a unique wear solution for varied applications. It is commonly used in applications that experience severe wear.
